Meet the Staff Laurie, Office AdministratorLaurie has worked for Dr. Layport periodically since 1998. She graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in business and has a master's degree in education from Willamette University. Laurie is married with three grown children, and is the sister of Dr. Layport.  Bette, Front Office CoordinatorBette joined our team in September of 2014. She comes to us with 30 years of periodontal experience. She graduated from dental assisting school at Pacific College in San Diego in 1971. Bette is married with a grown daughter and two beautiful grandchildren.  Tami, Patient Care CoordinatorTami comes to us with 30 years in general dentistry. She has 2 grown daughters and 3 amazing grandsons.  Cathy, Dental AssistantCathy has worked for Dr. Layport since 2006. She has worked in the dental field since 1981 with most of her experience working as an oral surgery assistant. Cathy is married and has two sons.  Sandi, Front OfficeSandi worked in general dentistry for 12 years before joining our team. Sandi is married and enjoys spending time with Lily, her Rottweiler.  Luan, HygienistLuan has worked for Dr. Layport as a hygienist since 2006. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business from Vietnam. She moved to Portland in 1992 and completed her dental hygiene degree in 1999. Luan has a Limited Access Permit, which makes her eligible to work in nursing homes without the supervision of a dentist. She is also an examiner for the WREB (Western Regional Examining Board), a national dental hygiene testing agency. She is studying for her MPH (Masters in Public Health). She was nominated to be on the cover of RDH Magazine in July of 2010. Luan is married with a grown daughter.  Sally, HygienistSally has been in the dental field since 2008, first as a dental assistant, then as a dental hygienist. Sally graduated from Pacific University with a Master of Business Administration, Bachelors in Dental Hygiene. Sally is married and actively involved in the dental community volunteering for Give Kids a Smile, Project Homeless, Mission of Mercy, and Compassion Clinic in Tualatin, Hillsboro and Oregon City.
